UFC 226 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch Miocic vs. Cormier online
On Saturday, the UFC will have two champions vying for one belt in the main event of UFC 226: Miocic vs. Cormier. Stipe Miocic, the UFC heavyweight champion, is putting his belt on the line against Daniel Cormier, the UFC light heavyweight champion.
The prelims begin at 7 p.m. ET on UFC Fight Pass, and continue at 8 p.m. on Fox Sports 1. The pay-per-view main card is set to begin at 10 p.m. Online streaming of the prelims can be had via fuboTV, UFC Fight Pass, and Fox Sports GO. Live streaming of the pay-per-view can be purchased from the UFC directly at UFC.TV and their YouTube channel.
Miocic and Cormier both fought on the UFC 220 card, defending their titles against Francis Ngannou and Volkan Oezdemir, respectively. Miocic went all five rounds against Ngannou, a tough striker, and broke the record for most consecutive defenses of the heavyweight strap with just three.
That’s why any title bout involving a heavyweight is still a huge deal: the belt changes hands with such frequency that if Miocic manages to beat Cormier, he could become one of the bigger draws in the sport. Cormier finished Oezdemir in the second round via TKO (punches).
Ngannou will also be on the card, up against Derrick Lewis in a heavyweight bout on the main card as the co-main event. Michael Chiesa will face Anthony Pettis in a lightweight bout before that, and the main PPV card will open with a bout between Khalil Rountree Jr. and Gökhan Saki.
The original co-main was a featherweight title bout between Max Holloway and Brian Ortega, but the former had to pull out due to injury.
The preliminary card is headlined by a middleweight contest between Uriah Hall and Paulo Costa.
